Table olives have been harvested by hand for thousands of years worldwide, including since olive trees were first planted in the U.S. over 100 years ago. Musco pioneered and perfected the use of shaker technology for table olive trees and now have multiple years of successful harvests, using technology similar to most other tree crops. We are now starting to work with grower-partners to roll out this technology; harvesters are optimized, proven, and commercially available.
