Quality You Can
Taste & Trust
As the only 100% California-owned, family-run full-line olive business in America, the Musco Family Olive Company is known for outstanding, uncompromising quality. Our supply chain has been the same for decades, anchored by long-term relationships with multi-generational California farmers. Almost all of our black ripe olives are sourced from over 450 California growers — each one a valued member of our extended family. Our process is completely transparent, resulting in consistently superior-quality olives from tree to table. Our competitors, on the other hand, mix and match different types of olives from a variety of countries, resulting in inconsistent textures and flavors.
Black Gold From The Golden State
Musco’s utilizes a traditional seven-day, slow-cure process to yield the best tasting olives money can buy. Hand-picked and hand-sorted, our black ripe olives are cured using sea salt and water. Lower quality imports cut corners, using only a three-day curing process. Try any of our Pearls or Early California products and you will taste the difference immediately.

Commitment
to California
In 1942, the Musco Family Olive Company was founded in California. Nearly 80 years later, we’re still proud to call California home, with our headquarters and state-of-the-art processing facility now located in Tracy. Our commitment to ensuring the long-term viability of California’s ripe olive industry is more than just a good business decision; for us, it’s a moral imperative. We’re investing in the future of California farmers, their families, and the thousands of American jobs that bring olives from inland valley orchards to pantries across the land. Our California roots are deep and our hope is that our collective efforts will bear fruit for generations to come.
