Kalamata Hummus

Remember packing lunch in a brown paper bag? This Kalamata Hummus brings those school-day meal prep vibes back but with a grown-up twist. Creamy, savory, and made with Pearl Kalamata Olives, it’s perfect for lunchboxes, after-school snacks, or desk-side dipping.

Ingredients

2 (15oz) cans garbanzo beans, rinsed & drained

⅓ cup tahini

⅓ cup olive oil

⅓ cup lemon juice

1 cup Pearl Specialties Kalamata Olives

1 teaspoon salt

½ teaspoon cumin

½ teaspoon paprika

Fresh chopped parsley, for garnish

Kalamata olives, for garnish

Olive oil, for garnish

Carrots, cucumbers and crackers, for serving

Cooking Instructions

  1. Place garbanzo beans, tahini, olive oil, lemon juice, Kalamata olives, and seasonings in a food processor.
  2. Blend until smooth.
  3. Spread in a shallow bowl, or serve in a bento box, drizzle with olive oil and garnish with parsley and olives.
  4. Serve alongside veggies and crackers.
