This brand new edition of the classic Caipirinha looks just as good as it tastes. Cachaca is known for its rich, earthy tones which parallel the refined bitterness of the kalamata. The bursts of lime dance with the cherry/honey suckle profile of the maraschino creating a beautiful tempo.
- 4 lime wedges
- 4 Pearls Specialties Kalamata olives, plus 2 more for garnish
- 1 tablespoon maraschino
- 1 teaspoon simple syrup
- 4 tablespoons Cachaca
- Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker.
- Muddle briefly to break ingredients up a bit, then shake vigorously.
- Dump all contents in shaker into big rocks glass.
- Garnish with two olives
